PADI Dive Against Debris
Be an ocean tourchbearer and make every dive count with the PADI Dive Against Debris. In this class you will learn how to safely identify and dive to pick up marine debris, catagorize it and log it on the PADI Aware Conservation site. This is a 1 dive specialty.
Next class is August 7 (Orientation night) & 8, 2027 with the clean up dive completed at Clear Lake.
*Students are required to own their own personal scuba mask, snorkel and mesh collection bag for the class. Students receive a discount on required gear for the course.
**If needing to rent equipment, an additional fee will be applied when picking up the gear.
After signing up for the course, please download and return the Course Sign Up Paperwork and send us a copy of your certification card.

About the Course
Make a difference on every dive by activating your inner citizen scientist. During the Dive Against Debris® Diver Specialty course, you’ll learn how ocean plastic and trash cleanups not only keep your local dive sites healthier, but also how to contribute to a global database that documents our planet’s marine debris problem. Under the guidance of your instructor, you’ll participate in a Dive Against Debris survey and turn your passion for the underwater world into real action.
